FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt (Part-Time, Seasonal, Hours will vary)
Summary of Position
Participate in the removal and clearing of snow and ice for the snow season for a specific site or set of sites. As an operator/shoveler, execute snow operations during snow events, to ensure services are performed according to the site expectations and instructions from the leadership team. Provide outstanding workmanship to maintain property in a safe and responsive matter. This is a part-time,
temporary, seasonal position that provides an emergency response service for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate one or several customer snow sites during the season, ensuring outstanding customer service is delivered.
- Consistently communicate with the snow leadership team. Confirm that you are aware of the storm game plan and that you are ready to take action according to your promised availability.
- Provide quality workmanship while on location.
- Document and address immediately any damages and incidents occurring during a snow event. Work with leadership to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
- Snow operations experience not-required, Training is provided for loader and skid steer with pushers/attachments, sidewalk equipment, and other snow operations equipment.
- Ability to communicate well.
